Rev Williams. Continental Director of Operations

REV. WILLIAMS, SYLVESTER ISAIAH is the African Continental Diretor of Operations .
Mr. Williams, Sylvester Isaiah,  was born in 1959 in Ikot Abasi Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, to a Christian family.  He commenced his primary education 1969 in Ikot Osudu Primary School, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria from where he proceeded to Quo Iboe Church Secondary School, Minya, Ikot Abasi in 1974.  He graduated in flying colours with a West African School Certificate in 1979.
After his secondary education, Mr. Williams enlisted in the Nigerian Airforce as an Airman after undergoing a 9-month basic military training course at the Ground Training Group (GTG), Nigerian Airforce Base, Kaduna, Kaduna State, Nigeria.  On completion of training, he was deployed to Headquarters, Nigerian Airforce, Ministry of Defence, Lagos, as Personal Assistant to the Director of Administration. Because of his love for personal advancement and while working full-time, Williams enrolled on part-time course on Secretarial Administration at Institute of Vocational Education, Isolo, Lagos.  He graduated with a Higher Diploma and got redeployed to a higher responsibility.  He became the Personal Assistant to the Air Officer in Charge of Adminstration. Headquarters, Nigerian Airforce, Ministry of Defence, Lagos.
In 1986, Mr. Williams was released to pursue a full-time Professional Diploma course in Journalism at the prestigious Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Lagos.  On graduation in 1988, he was seconded from the Administration Department to Finance and appointed Executive Assistant to the Director in the Office of the Chief of Air Staff.  Again, because of his insatiable love for and belief in self improvement, Williams embarked on another part-time course while on a full-time job, this time at the University of Calabar, Lagos Satelite campus where he graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management in 1999.
Same year, Mr. Williams was nominated by the Nigerian Air Force to represent its interest in the Nigerian Mission in the United States of America.  He served as the Personal Assistant to the Defence Attache and Senior Administrative Officer of the Defence Section of the Embassy of Nigeria, Washington DC, USA.  He served out his tenure in 2004 after four (4) years of unblemished, creditable service.  While in the United States, he was sponsored by the Embassy to American University, Washington DC, for a course in Conflict Resolution and Management.  He graduated in July, 2003.
It is worthy to note that while giving his best to the military service of his country.  Williams was also serving the Lord in very significant capacity.  He was baptized in The Apostolic Church, Maboju, Lagos where he served in varying capacities.  While in the United States, he teamed up with his wife and another brethren, Professor Calixtus Idiong, of the University of the District of Columbia, to establish a branch of The Apostolic Church located at #3600 Belcrest Road, Hyattsville, Maryland, USA.  For his pioneering efforts in championing the cause of the Church and the service of God, Mr Williams was ordained in USA as a Minister of God in 2003. He presided over the affiars of the Church until he returned to Nigeria on expiration of his Diplomatic assignment in the USA.  It is to be noted, however, that while Mr. Williams returned to Nigeria, his wife carried on with the Church in the capacity of a Senior Deaconess to date.
Though Mr. Williams, Sylvester disengaged from active services of the Nigerian Air Force in 2004, he has remained most active in the service of the Lord in The Apostolic fold and a wonderful inspiration to others.  He is happily married with 5 kids, all living in the United States.  Two of the kids study Pharmacy and Mechanical Engineering respectively in American institutions
